This food waste bin has a lid which does not seal tight. There is a gap all the way round which allows fruit flies in and out. The design ‘looked’ lovely but was impractical as it was constantly infested with fruit flies. Also, the IW2 bin bags which are recommended to go in it, are near useless as they biodegrade within a day and disintegrate before you need to empty the bucket! I had to get rid of it in the end and buy a model by Brabantia which seals extremely tightly and I’ve had no fruit flies since.

Waste of money, first one split open when I took it out and contents all over kitchen floor. Quality is worse than the free ones you get from the Council. Won’t be buying again.Foolishly also bought set of Chopping Boards and first use left them badly scratched & damaged!

These Caddy liners are a snug fit for my Collect 4L Stainless Steel Joseph Joseph food waste caddy, but they are very good once fitted. They are a lot stronger than the shop bought liners that do fit my caddy. I will buy these again even though a bit expensive as I like the fact that they haven’t split or leaked which the thinner liners can do.
