Looks good, quard is a good idea but has not been used yet

  2. Nutmegsmum

Too coarse for a lemon zester it will remove the lemon pith as well as the rind

This product is great, excuse the pun! What info does not emphasise is that you can slide protector onto reverse side and catch zest or parmesan in it rather than spraying it around. Bought having used a friends which is best way for online purchases as some gadgets disappoint but not this one.

  4. Mrs J.

So easy to use, the slider scrapes it clear and if you use it with the plastic case on that collects the zest as well. So much better than the zester side on a grater. Love mine so bought for my sisters as well!

A very handy little kitchen tool. Grates Peel as well as fresh ginger root. The sliding pusher at the back is useful for getting that last little bit off the grater.

Be careful as the teeth are very sharp and so hold the fruit firmly. The guard is definitely needed. The sliding bit of plastic to push out the zest is a good idea but it comes off easily, so not as useful as it first seems.

Good, works well. It comes with a small plastic pusher which is useful for moving the grated rind up the blade and into a bowl (or whatever receptacle is chosen). Sadly, being small, this pusher vanished after the second use and has never reappeared. This doesn’t, however, affect the zester particularly.

This is really poor as a zester. It is too small and not sharp enough not a patch on my microplane.
The plastic slider to wipe off the zest is a good idea but not well executed.Wobbly and loose.

  9. Claire S.

I’ve used this for citrus fruits and also for grating garlic. I like the slide that gets the remnants off the grater.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stylish as ever and just a touch of extra purpose with the handy tool to scrape out the zest.
